hj, we gave up a 2 story in la la land to avoid a commute (choice - 2 story with commute or single story w/ no commute). i think that is one of the best decisions i've ever made. i'd be certifiable now if i had to sit in traffic. my worst traffic nightmare is that the red lights take too long ;-)

a former coworker used to work 11 to 12 hours per day in order to avoid the commute. 9 is enough for me - barring special circumstances, of course.

i know folks who live in temecula and commute to utc. some live even farther out. i couldn't do that. even if there was no traffic.
