The short length of observable history conspires against me providing you with examples of verifiable "big changes" that would be satisfactory to you. However, this seems to be just a disagreement over the degree to which you-vs-me are willing to extrapolate backwards.

Divine "pressure" would not be observable, except in the sense that things came out right.

Maybe we agree here and just have different concepts of what this "Divine pressure" is. It seems to obey fairly simple and natural laws to me, so I don't anthropomorphize it.

Ah! But the discovery of Pluto WAS conclusive. No such conclusive evidence has been presented for the designer theory, so it must remain a speculation.
