The Winternet or When I Was A Kid... mindmeld made some very true observations about what is coming. Current waiting lists for broadband (where I live) are running to about 1% of the population, this is significant. Consolidation at current levels with slippage more likely than traction, that's my opinion. I don't think $3.00 is a possibility but $15.00 is a definite contender in the near term.
