Waiting for broadband... me too... I'm in that 1%.

I argue much with mindmeld on the valuation of CSCO (price per share). But not so much on the business prospects. The internet is proving to be a fantastic social revolution. More significant with respect to implications on society than the lightbulb or the horseless carriage.

But the $3 to $30 question for CSCO: How much will CSCO get? Who's gear is really needed when I get my broadband connection?

mindmeld made some very true observations about what is coming. Current waiting lists for broadband (where I live) are running to about 1% of the population, this is significant.

Am I reading your post correctly in that you are stating that 1% of the population has broadband and 99% are waiting?
