Sattelite radio will be an easy seller. The auto dealers will wind up getting people hooked on the service. Truckers will all have it. Don't think of it as 9.95 per month...think of it as 120 bucks a year. Woopdedoo. I don't know about you, but between the loudmouth say nothing DJ's, the crappy music, the commercials, and the static around here, the radio isn't worth listening to. The problem with the service will be that you have to have the equipment to get it. That means shelling out the bucks for a new radio, or buying a new vehicle. That WILL be a problem in this economy. The service is cheap by most people's standards though. I would just pay 120 bucks to be covered for a year myself, and tell them not to bother me till my service is due to expire. (per vehicle of course)

During the first 6 months of the rollout, they are going to be offering free installs of accu-jacks to buyers of satellite radio. Since men would be the likely decision makers of the "upgrade" to satellite radio, the marketing idea is a stroke of genius.
