Warp, I would hate to imply denigration of a great work, but on the question of "did I miss anything," do you think you should have added that in the head of dinosaur boy on topic includes:

8) Posting the same brags and puffy drivel over and over again no matter how redundant
9) Hurling childish insults at anyone who doesn't do the "good little Rails" routine in response to smug assertions
10) Posting the words BYE and IGNORE over and over again to the same posters (does that ignore button really work, or is that just the "head under the blanket" hiding place for the verbally and intellectually handicapped?) If I am "loosing" you here Iso, ask your friend.
11) Posting extreme right wing prattle parroted from gossip papers sent to "true believers," which later turns out to be either fabricated, exaggerated or just stupidly wrong
12) Pick one: either posting that the busy man has no time to help people like little Rails OR posting pleas for others to share their views about equity charts and the markets
13) Constantly reminding people that the thread is down to a few pathetic posters from it's heyday as a vibrant thread because of those who fail to acknowledge the superiority of "THE FEW."

I could go on but I think 13 is a good number here. By the way Isopatsy, how's the thread rebuilding going. Got lots of strong new posters? I noticed some days there are just a handful of posts and most of them are (DRUMROLLLLL) yours. It's enough to give an isoposter a Jesus complex. I notice you're still "rolling around the floor, laughing your ass off." Sure saves on dusting I guess, but don't you look a little silly in front of the fam?

Just so one can get a good look at how others may view him, what are we to think of a person who posts all day, every day, including posting the kinds of things one shares with friends, if he has them, and then spouts on about how others need to get a life. Is a "life" something that happens when you get up to go to the bathroom?

Once again Warp, no criticism of your list intended. See you in the land of the reasonable. Ed

Hi ya Warp,
Just in case you missed it on HTP:

Message 15780611

Edit:
Just in case the message gets removed from HTP:

So here is the smoking gun:

Message 15775677

This is what some do, attempt to “steal” posters from the ole SD thread
by posting “advertising” for their favorite thread on SD, IF this cannot
be done by private messages.

When SD posters are having a good day the strategy seems to be that the
attacks become more virulent and plentiful. It should be noted, if the SD
thread were not read by the “expatriots“, then no one would know when they were having
a good day. Or that they were making plastic chihuahua jokes, ggg.

Here are some examples from yesterday:

Message 15777920

Message 15778920

Message 15779087

I have some objections to these type of posts. One is that they did
not originate from posts on the HTP thread. Therefore they did not
result from a thread intrusion, a personal argument that is contemporary
but rather from old hurts and injuries to the ego from SD battles long
past.

IMHO, posters reacting to old ego injuries in this manner do not have a
thick enough hide to be traders.

Given the animosity that has developed between old posters of SD, perhaps
the HTP thread was a good idea. However the dropping of bombshells on SD from the protected moderated
thread of HTP seems unfair to me. No equal time is available and the attacks seem to have no contemporary
SD basis for their origin.

If Slider and Iso were so hopeless as investors or traders and so antagonizing as
posters , then why read their posts at all??
Afraid you are missing something, besides a good whoppin', ggg?

I do not have the time or inclination to run a moderated thread, which some have suggested. However,
I believe that some response is required and there is one that fits my limited available time.

It’s simple. Post a bombshell on SD that is not pertinent to the days discussion,
whether that discussion be dinosaur bones or gold or API’s and you go on ignore from me. Forever and
always and in all ways, PM or whatever.
I never change decisions to ignore a poster.

Sure, I may miss out on some gems, like JQP’s ROILY just as an example, (PS, good one JQP) but I have
more gems than money to invest in for a long time to come.
So I’m not trying to continue a thread war, but at least for myself, I am going to end it.
Best of luck all ...
and go gold, ggg!
Roebear

Yup, and you're the first one to get big "H" button pushed on the SI Tantalus Device.

I'd do Ed first, but he's already there, ggg!

See ya (next life maybe, not on SI)
