Re my fav metal: perhaps it is all the repo action by the Fed which is causing MZM to skyrocket at rates not seen since the early 1980's (1982 to be exact) and thus the gold bugs are getting all lathered. Or perhaps it is nervous middle easterners or Chinese buying. And there's a very good chance if not indicative of some major world event that the whole thing dies down like it does every other time.

Mssr. Goldfinger, believing the entire thing to be a farce, is writing covered calls against his physical stock. That alone should bring the market back down $10/oz.
