Is anyone else have a problem when opening the AMAT Thread Links.

Message 15780522

After I open the link, Realmoney.com tries to load after the SI in a second window. The link does not fully open and the Realmoney.com site has missing fields.

I don't know how to tell SI, if SI is reading, do you know what is happening ?

Again Realmoney.com opens after I open the SI Thread link.

Thanks

Stan

Per briefing.com: 07:55 ET Chip Equipment Companies : Hearing from sources at Morgan Stanley that firm is upgrading large-cap semiconductor capital equipment companies; firm said to raise AMAT, KLAC, ASML, LRCX, NVLS, TER to STRONG BUY from Outperform... Firm feels that train has left the station and recent pullback creates a buying opportunity; sees upside of 40% or more over next 12-18 months

Henry D,

Back during the 1996-97 Bull market, AMAT Gapped the next day to 38 from 32 the previous day. Many Investors were pre-occupied in waiting for the stock to fill the Gap even after the price was already in the 60s. I used to call them many many times as the AMAT Gap Investors.

Just to let you know: --- AMAT never completely filled that Gap.

(I've watched AMAT since 1997 when I first invested in Stocks. AMAT moves differently from the other Techs. That's why when I recommend some Investment Plays, I remind them that it is for "... AMAT and AMAT only...")
