Jim,

I might buy some RMBS at about $5.

I fully expect Intel to screw up their DDR effort, which will eventually cause RDRAM to have >30% market share in the PC business.

"There are STILL Rambus longs?" Of course! Example:
siliconinvestor.com

This kid seems to be totally distorted:

"IMO, RMBS has the truth, the law, God & Andy Grove on their side."

"$30 billion DRAM market X 50% RDRAM share X 5% royalty rate = $750 million in royalties per year"

"A pure-IP company needs to have fantastic lawyers"

"although the fraud punitive damages suck, it's only $3 million."

"RMBS believes, and I agree, that these two alternative memory standards infringe on their patents."

There is only one realistic statement,
"I frankly don't know what's going on."
