Scumbria,
RE:"I might buy some RMBS at about $5.
I fully expect Intel to screw up their DDR effort, which will eventually cause RDRAM to have >30% market share in the PC business."

I might buy some for wallpaper. Might be worth something when the book comes out. <G>

When do you see >30% Rambus market share?
Haven't thought it through but at first glance, Intel could be in a heap more trouble w/rambus that first thought. Especially if Rambus has to jack up their royalty fees to pay for all the Lawyers and lawsuits pretty much guaranteeing high Rambus costs going forward and resulting in high(er) P4/Rambus system costs. If Intel bloches their DDR chipset and or they use single channel...they will be in further trouble. The market will saw them off at the ankles.
If afraid Rambus has attached itself to Intel like a Lamprey eel.

Jim

Scumbria:

I always do my due diligence RE technology and tech stocks. I would call espousing only support for "registered PC1600" DIMMs as a screw up.
