I don't know what was said, but it sure sounds like a conference call to me, just because it was not open to the public, and open only to "clients" (clients of the brokerage house that rec'd them last week, namely, institutional investors with "privileges"), it is still a CC. I wonder how that will jive with FD. Sure management discussed only "public information", but the tone of voice, by itself, not just the numbers may have conveyed "new information" (g).I can see Weiss etc (the famous ambulance chasers) go after them with a new class of claims about the "tone of the voice".(GG)

Unfortunately Hank, that BS is all too common these days. The advantage the speed of the internet gave to J6P, has been mitigated somewhat by the manipulation via rumors misinformation (read lies), etc., that travel faster than real news. There is no doubt that this is done for personal profit.

IMO, if the SEC wanted to, they could take action to limit the frequency of this obvious manipulation (read fraud) & still protect the 1st Amendment. Unfortunately J6P isn't organized & ergo has no real clout to insist on being fairly protected. I doubt the Houses & big money operations are pounding on the SEC's doors to take action.
