Well I'm still kind of lost in all of this.

I'm guessing these were either long term plays or day trades.

Me and my buddies at thestockpit.com have become minute traders over the last few months.

We all follow one simple philosophy;
thestockpit.com

I want to say more about that, but it is hard to explain the trust that everyone has for each other (minus the odd hypster that shows up with some crap). The other day some guy posted BUY WXYZ. Now he is not the kind of person to say something like that. So I bought 1K @ $15 I think, sold 3 mins later @ 16. Then I asked him what was happening..........

The loss of $50K is certainly large when you look at what most people commit to trading. However, I would suspect that someone who managed to loose $50K in two weeks time did so by not holding stops, overtrading and or a combo of the two. Even if you joined a service run by my 7 year old brother..it would be very hard to loose that much in two weeks if you just use some common sense...all this of course is IMHO. Not trying to defend any-ones actions because there are a lot of sleazy people out there..but a person also does have to be responsible for his or her own actions...of course this also includes the guru...ie if someone is out there giving advise knowing full well it wont be profitable for anyone that is obviously fraud.
