personally, I don't think the bulls or the bears are going to be happy, since I feel the market is entering a meandering period as it waits for more information to confirm that the FED has been successful. Only agnostic traders that are quick will be happy. <g>

John, interesting take on my postings <GGGG> there is a high possibility of a new war in the Middle East, again extreme Arab groups are putting pressure on moderate Arab Countries to foot the bill for a war.

The present war of attrition between Arab terrorist groups and Israel is the prelude to that. To date it weakens the extremist position. As such the terrorists and Islamic Fanatics or Fundamentalist will opt for a war as otherwise the Terrorist and Islam Fanatics will loose their grip on the population.

Under a different "formal reason" a similar situation happens in Algiers were everyday on average, 10 to 25 people are killed in the name of Islam (it does appears as footnotes news in the press).

In a nut shell it is an over millenium old conflict between Islam and Western Civilization.

IMHO in the US we are poised for a prolonged softness or mild recession which after today's PPI has all the signs of stagflation.

NAZ 1000 even a possibility would be disastrous for many pension funds and insurance companies.
