Will you be first in line to sell (naked short) option straddles on KKD ?

I suspect you will find a lot of people willing to be on the other side of your trade ...

Jon.

I tend to agree with your conclusion, though I get there a rather different way.

I have a working theory that we haven't even come close to seeing the full effect of insider selling (and by that I mean not from the board members who actually have to file SEC documents but the rank-and-file employees from the franchise owners on down). I admit having no evidence but I still strongly suspect many of the supposedly "unlocked" shares are being withheld from the market until the NYSE changeover so as to (in theory) provide a more liquid market and reduce the price impact of the selling.

Of course, the fact that all those May put options bears have been patiently sitting since November may now well go out worthless just a few days before the break they had been waiting for finally comes is coincidence, SHEER coincidence.

Then again I'm hopped up on steroids, so I'm probably completely high here.

Oh my - the gang's all here. With all the Bottom Shorters out, this may finally be a "luxury short" ---------

at 100.

Ooops, forgot - it's already over 100 pre-split. Good short call and right before great earnings. Couldn't have timed it worse.

Guess the "affiliates" will be "averaging up". I think I'll short it at 75. That may happen real soon.

Good luck.

BTW - I see they are exploring Boston and vicinity, the home of the Dunkin boys. I may have to go off the Tofu and Soy and try it out. (Anyone know the closest Kremery?) If it's as good as everyone claims, I may short Whole Foods and go long KREM even though it's against every healthy thing I believe in.

This one goes up on the shorters wall of shame. Of course, the self-styled expert will always come back and say he's doubled, quadrupled, etc. up all the way so eventually he can brag about being right.
