I don't say doing the right thing is easy. I say, doing the right thing, even when it's hard, especially when it's hard, defines the character of a man.

In the particular case being discussed (and discussed, and discussed), doing the right thing was too hard for Mr. Clinton. So he lied, induced others to lie, and misused the powers of his office to weasel out of having to do the right thing. The country paid and is still paying. Character matters after all.

Of course not, these are all honest religious god fearing "men"...none have ever sinned and not confessed immediately.....one even turned himself into a game warden because he forgot to get a hunting license...
