Windsock you forgot to include part of the article.

But if the undervotes were declared valid only when
chads were detached by at least two corners, Bush
would have come out on top by 407 votes. And if
only cleanly punched ballots were counted, Bush
would win by 152 votes.

Gore failed to become president by distancing himself from Clinton and being untruthful and spineless. This page contains a detailed critical analysis of the Gore 2000 campaign and e-mail correspondence between me and the Gore team urging Gore to not be stupid. I created the first Gore 2000 web site. Gore ignored all my suggestions. For historical purposes, and for anyone who is writing books about the 2000 election, I offer this opinion and emails for the purpose of historical accuracy.

Bush - The News Media's President
The 2000 election was a media generated farce. They went way out to try to sell us on Bush, and Gore was elected anyhow. In spite of that, the fixed the Florida election and installed Bush anyhow along with the help of the Republican Supreme Court. Now they are trying to cover up for the fact that we have a moron for a president and that we are supposed to just lay back and accept it. That's not going to happen. It's time to strike back at the Republican Media and take back the news. We are now longer going to allow them to redefine reality in their terms. It's time to expose the news media for what it really is, the propaganda machine of the Republican Party.
