I'd like to go back to a time when it was okay to celebrate MOther's Day, Father's Day, to be thankful on Thanksgiving DAy ~ when we could at least get reasonably priced gas to offset paying ten times more for prescription drugs than the rest of the world, when doctors cared, when kids and parents were Ritalin and Prozac free ~ when schools were institutes of learning instead of mental institutions. Remember the days when this country was revered for its stand on human rights. A week ago the UN voted the US off the Human Rights Commission. Remember the admonition, Wake up before it's too late. We didn't, and now it is too late. But hey, Happy Mother's Day. Let's pray for our children ~oops.

You are awakening my childhood. If one is old enough to remeber the depression years. Like - Pepsi was 5 cents for 12 full ounces and there was a song that went Pepsi Cola hits the spot 12 full ounces thats alot dadada (I forgot this line) More for your money too Pepsi Cola is the drink you. The corner movie was 11 cents At age 16 (1946) gas was 19 cents a gallon. I worked in butcher shop for 25 cents an hour and that was good pay Those were not easy times. but life was good. We knew no other way. No TV.
