I REALLY want to thank you for that article. I think
that what he said may actually come true. I think
that bears do need to be careful, and that it is
hard to fight all of that money Greeny is injecting.
It's like fighting a losing battle. I still believe in
the earnings fundementals, and think it still might be
profitable to short during earnings warning time, but
not after.

Dale- the only thing the bears cant argue with is that a casino atmosphere is returning to the market.. Sub $1 stocks that move 2-3 points in pre market etc etc.. so at this point im ready for anything,.. It just amazes me still that garbage like this is still happening after the pounding that people must have taken the last 6 months..

I just think that once we completely get 'sane' with the market, our profits will dwindle as well since volatility wont be everywhere.. so Im really hoping we hit 3000 before 1000 on the nasdaq :) This 2200 level has proven to be incredible mental block. I shorted the semis at least 6 times in the last few weeks and it just keeps producing! Im sitting on almost all cash now going into next week tho, but still favor a move below 2000 after the fed.. just not sure if im going to put my money on that speculation :)

Im just stickign with what I understand- the semis.. and regardless of what else is going on in the markets, I still see this group trailing far behind any recovery.. Just takes alot of discipline to short these for max. return... Lotsa whipsawing..

Incidentally, does anyone know of any good short selling magazines/newsletters available? Would appreciate any links/addresses/ etc etc
