I believe that individuals are responsible for doing their own due diligence...even newbies.

An important part of doing due diligence on a stock or a company selling stock advice is finding out what other people know about the stock or company selling stock advice. Talking to people who have researched the same thing you are interested in is the whole purpose of these boards ... and you want us not to talk to each other or warn people about what we have discovered?

If you go onto a public street (read public message board) you should not have the right to keep your critics off that street ... especially when you are trying to sell something to the public ... in my opinion of course.

Let's say a farmer goes to a farmer's market and tries to sell produce which is sprayed with something that causes most people to get sick ... would you say that a person should not try to warn people about this especially if that person got sick after eating the produce sold by that farmer?

It's alot easier to warn people about something at the location where it is being sold than to go across town and yell at the top of your lungs the farmer at the other side of town is selling bad produce.
