FWIW, I know you've heard this before: But I wouldn't buy leap puts -- isntead take the money you would spend on the leaps and divide it into 3 portions -- buy a first portion now -- 15 - 20 pts out of the money -- at least 3 months out -- if it doesn't work try it again after those expire, then repeat if you want. if you are wed to the idea of leaps consider a spread ... OTW, you are just paying too much for premium, IMO. The leverage just isn't there ...
