as one of our resident bears, what do you think about AMAT warning last night that next q they will not do 23¢ but break even instead and yet the stock is up a tad? sentiment shift? people now looking for reasons to buy expecting a U recovery where capital equipment companies are currently in the flat part of the U and are starting to project where the upside begins. i see it, recovery, perhaps in chips but telecom? hard to find a driver for telecom except dsl and cable modems but they have to figure out how to provide service at a profit. how do we get our caps keys fixed? k
