Hi Mindmeld: No... say it isn't so!

Who will I debate with?

I am curious however, why would you wait for a bubble to peak? 'Tis not vulcan :)

Seems to me that "too early" means that you forego some gains from your current portfolio, and "too late" means that you capture some losses.

If the goal is "gain" then one must risk loss to achieve it. If the goal is "loss prevention" then one risks gain to achieve it. Many of my friends got trapped because they don't identify which side of this razor's slice they would prefer to come down on.

Where would you rather be?

John

But I'm starting to think wealth preservation isn't a bad idea going forward, and that means less tech. How sad. Tech is what interests me so much too.
Of course, you guys will still see me on this thread

You shouldn’t feel the need to explain why you would continue posting even though you’ve lightened your position in Cisco or for that matter even depleted it entirely.

Many of the posters here neither own nor have an interest in owning Cisco.

Why are they here?

Ask 10 and you’ll get 10 different “explanations”.

My opinion, strip away the veneer locate the core and what do you have, just a plain unvarnished Cisco basher.

No more, no less.

Who cares, not many.

I find them an amusing lot at times.
