Boy they sure seem to think they covered all the bases. The above seems to indicate they may be trading against you ... telling you to do one thing while they do another. Also, in the past people have been fined heavily by the SEC even though they had disclaimers like this. The SEC decided the defendants should have given more details about their own trading than they did. A good example of this is George Chelekis ... a former investment newsletter guru (now in hiding) ... hell he used to give much more detailed accounts of his personal trading than Jenna does and even he was fined by the SEC for insufficient disclosure. He also had a defamantion lawsuit filed against him by a Canadian journalist. It was the second biggest libel award in Canadian history ... the amount awarded to the Canadian journalist was $875,000. George Chelekis is from Florida too ... what is it with people from Floridia?"In the course of his campaign, Chelekis manufactured three separate and deliberate lies, the first, that David Baines threatened his life; the second, that Baines was trading against his column, and third, that Baines was involved in a homosexual relationship with Adrian du Plessis," Rowan wrote in his judgment. Rowan termed Chelekis' conduct as arrogant, vindictive and continuous during the two-year campaign against Baines. Vancouver Sun, Apr. 16, 1998 Lola:)
