Whether Limbo is or is not an accepted doctrine , it is rather a vague kind of bandaid to the description of the interim "state" of souls.... You are saying it is an acceptable doctrine ? Very interesting....the idea of "Limbo" seems very appropriate in it's shear meaninglessness...<G> It is interesting that there is not a very great understanding of the nature of the soul or of it's creation & maturing , in a belief system based in the Godhead of Eternity , but believes and only see's a the most unimaginable infintessmal span of time for that maturation , growth, and actualization of the soul. That seems all but left out ...no wonder their is such a desperate need for Hero's and saints, but so few today. Could it be about control Neo ? And limited understanding ? They have a saying in India Neo.... "the young one's grow , and the Old ones know... It's like watching little children for centuries ---> "playing at God"...making up stories as they go.
