Do we know that '147mm2, and 158 die per wafer' is right?

We have other estimates of 192 per wafer, which would (roughly) give: 147 * 158 / 192 = 120 mm2.

But we'll probably *know* the die size in a few hours.

RE:"Intel is clearly not yet willing to drop mobile prices to the point where AMD's mobile margins (er, I mean the margins they'll be getting once this product moves out; right now, of course, their margins are pretty much nonexistent, mobile spitfire notwithstanding) make the laptop market unprofitable for them."

Not yet because Intel hasn't had to worry about it.
It will be interesting to see if Intel is willing to sacrifice ASPs on mobile chips to hold that market share.
One thing going against them now is Mhz...Intel literally has few 1 Ghz P-III mobiles to ship. If AMD can get the Athlon4 to 1.1--1.2 or higher pretty soon then we will have the same situation as the Atlon was to the P3... before P4 showed up.

Re: ", I suspect that AMD's pretty happy with the mobile margins that they're looking at. "

We'll see how long that lasts.
