AMD could have launched desktop Palomino processors that were rated at a peak speed grade of 1.0 GHz and FSB of 100(200) MHz at 1.4v, while being rated at 1.333 GHz and FSB of 133(266) MHz at 1.75v.

Exactly, that was my point. I think the pointy hair managers are seriously hurting AMD with all their "strategies". They are acting like Intel, and destroying the good will AMD has earned, by selling high performance products at fair prices.

My conclusion is that AMD has a good product, but they screwed up the launch big time. No wonder that AMD opened negative this AM.
