European and South American attendance at Football (see Soccer in America) is huge. I wonder why they call American Football, football when there is so little use of feet in connection with the ball?

i-bill,

soccer attendance has dwindled to near zero over the thirty years

Soccer is the most popular spectator sport in the world, by far. It is growing in popularity very quickly, particularly in Asia.

Kids love to watch soccer. I'm taking a group from the YMCA to a Rapid's game this weekend. They will grow up much fitter than their parents in the 24" wide football stadium seats.
