Sorry JC, I guess I'm pissed at the attitude of this board to the Athlon 4 launch.

This attack on the mobile front is parallel only to the Classic Athlon Launch.

This is a huge win for AMD.

Plus with Ponies expected to be at 1.6Ghz on 180nm, they will compete against P4 at 2Ghz no problem.

Look at the AXIA stepping as a example.

Actually a good point. However, especially based on their behavior in flash, AMD seems to concentrate on building long term relationships, squeezing every last penny out of customers is not condusive to that. So they are basically telling their customers "see we could be gouging you, but we are trying to make a stable, predictable pricing environment". The extending of the lifespan of the SlotA, despite the higher costs, is another sign of this.
