Johannes,

I'm from Los Alamos, and we can take out an entire city from 1,000 miles.

The bullring is 3' across. Still it must look smaller than a period through iron sights. I shot skeet with a guy who was getting into the Camp Perry deal. He was going to a psychiatrist and a meditation guy so he could slow his pulse and strength of this heartbeat when shooting. Heat wave distortion is a big problem shooting at that distance.

I read a book about Gunny Sgt. Hathcock who was a Marine sniper. His longest 1 shot kill was 2,500 yards with open sights on a .50 cal. machine gun. 93 kills in Nam, he was injured when a vehicle he was in hit a mine and didn't do a full tour. He spent up to a day moving 200 yards getting into position. Took camo to a new extreme. Mainly used a Model 70 .300 Win Mag with a scope. White Feather: Carlos Hathcock-USMC Scout Sniper was the book. I read it in paperback.
