What we need is a tracking stock for AMAT.....and the other semi's.... My nomination would be Krispy Kreme Donuts.. (KKD) for a while AMAT and KKD tracked nicely together and then all those laid off silicon valley engineers started hanging around the donut shops and braggin' up how good they were, while never mentioning that they were laid off for good reason (over qualified, over paid and over aged). Being over aged is fine if you a whiskey but expensive if you are an engineer from the old school. The rest of the story is that these engineers ate so many Krispy Kreme Donuts that the company reported a great quarter and a two for one stock split. Second split within a year. For those techies like Brian and Michael and KDAVY looking for profitable alternative investments the dough in Krispy Kreme is pretty rich. Its all about making money..... Jerome
