Maybe we can be there when Dana Scully's baby is born, so we can verify for ourselves that the little bundle of joy is, in reality, the offspring of an alien life form, incubated in the womb of a sterile earth woman. But, wait ... if the baby really is an alien, then it has the potential of taking over the "Thread's Worst Nightmare" title. Oh, dear. We can't be having that. We better join the "dark side" that is trying to have the pregnancy terminated. I'd hate to be on the side opposite Fox Mulder, though. He seems to win most of his battles.
