I have visited Finland a few times over the years, and absolutely love the country. We used to (our family) take the Finnish Air to Helsinki, spend a couple days and go on to travel in Europe. It would be usually late July and August, we would spend a whole day around the harbour sampling the delicious foods that you can have from street vendors or the restaurants. My wife and I still think I should try to get some sort of sabbatical work there. Your informative post about Finland made me think of that again. I always wondered about the southern town called Turku, a little west of Helsinki. Where does the name come from do you know? Best, sa
