My concern at this stage is what Intel will do in the next couple of weeks. If they preannounce a dismal quarter then I can't predict how AMD price will be affected.

Logically AMD should benefit if people realize that Intel's problem is primarily due to loss of market share to AMD and not that noone is buying PCs. Unfortunately there are still a lot of dumb investors out there that think if Intel does badly then AMD will do worse.

What is your take on the stock price performance if Intel preannounce (as opposed to how you can't see, given the fundamentals, why AMD is trading under $50)?
