KDDI Announces to Launch Bluetooth Mobile Phones

KDDI Corp. said it will launch mobile phones incorporating Bluetooth wireless data transmission
technology in Japan from mid-June. Bluetooth is a new international standard for wireless

bands used by conventional cellphones. Bluetooth-enabled cellphones can transmit data at high
speeds of up to 1Mpbs.
