Haven't a clue, but Turkey does have a form of western mining law, and has made some positive changes. There was some discussion of it in ELD's annual report just sent out and probably on their web site.

Turkey has adopted the swiss civil code, the german commercial law and the italien criminal law under kemal ataturk. turkey has a clear separation of church and state.so the legal environment is quite reliable. of course, there is a problem with corruption and human rights...
