What is the p/e of NEM? What is its yield? How is NEM different from CSCO?

Just take the emotion out. Stock ownership should provide a benefit to the owner. If there is no dividend, or the dividend is less than can be derived more safely elsewhere, then the sole purpose of ownership is speculation. Speculation is not rewarded unless a profitable sale is enacted at some point. The xau and gold have reached a point where it is reasonable from many viewpoints to pocket some profit.

Just a guess, but it may be that many producers are currently filling the chamber with forward sales buckshot in preparation for blowing their foot off again if history has anything to say about it. Sorry for seeming so negative, but I've become as conditioned as Pavlov's(sp) dogs when it comes to this. Push the self-destruct button.
