Cary,
We agree!
Irrational exhuberance might be back and give us bulls(like me) one last hurrah. I am nervous about 2002 non-robust growth(slow growth recession), energy woes(a la 70's), and renewed inflation derailing what is expected to be a fed souped-up economy. Our convergence of views along with the Kangas interview of two weeks ago with that technician and you have a rip roaring market UNTIL 2002 woes(if they are to occur) becomes obvious and then the trip back to the abyss as we await the end of our mini-Japan scenario in 2003. mike

ST Trading: RE: "Long term shorts may be rewarded, but close stop losses will probably make your play short and disappointing"

Cary, Valid point. It may become more difficult to keep a worthwhile win/loss trading percentage in the near term. I'm constantly reevaluating the short-term and do not have a problem with changing strategy to fit the current environment. For the moment however, I'll ride this out.
