Sam,
At the beginning of 1999 noone imagined we would have an 85% gain by years end and over 100% by march of 2000. In march of 2000 who would have thunk 1650 nasdaq in march 2001. In light of the huge swings of the past two years this prediction is not as outlandish as it appears, especially if we take into account that 5 1/2 pointers might be creating a new bubble without the sizzle in earnings the last one provided. So that day in November, may turn out to be the rudest of awakenings. In any case January high of 2900 would be the first target for the Former bulls who just want to get back near where they were to exit. And if thru there what stops another 1000 point run. As i remember it nasdq seemed to run from 3000 to 4000 in about a month. Mike

Sam,

Thanks. Another reminder that I shouldn't trust my memory when it comes to names. As least Both Ralph and Rob begin with an "R". :-)

Ian.
