Better be careful with that finger, Jay...careful...Maria Buddafugglia (those g's &d's or k's &t's, hmmm?, never was very good at remembering how to spell peoples' names)) just had two ANALysts on Bubblevision with her, one touting Frank and his upcoming prowess with GE, his favorite, and another touting MMM with pe of 27 and dividend of 1.8% You must be mad, here it being a beautiful Friday
afternoon in Northern CA, all of us glowing in the reassurance of a mere 16.1% increase in the trade deficit,
Bush devoutly committing himself to peace in the Mideast (can't remember, do we still have ambassadors
over there?)...what's to worry, you silly boy with your metals. Go play a video game and quit worrying. Pezz is gone fishing but he says everything is gonna be alright.

PS Mike, I haven't mentioned a certain book for a long time, but I am working on another one about derivatives
and I have an even better kickback deal on that one. However if YOU would mention either one I'd would be rich.
Seriously folks, with the news out of WA, the Mideast, the Fed, and Bubblevision I have recently relearned
the lesson about laughter being good medicine. Very good thing it is that Friday comes when it does.
We all need a rest after five days of this.
Pezz, don't stay gone long

Hi Jay,

Pessimist by policy, optimist by temperament - it is possible to be both. How? By never taking an unnecessary chance and by minimizing risks you can't avoid. This permits you to play out the game happily, untroubled by the certainty of the outcome.
Lazarus Long (a very wise fictional character)

An old quote I remembered from many years ago, before I had responsibilities other than myself.

regards
Kastel
