It is amazing that all the biggest wireless companies like Intel and Cisco are working around QCOM when it comes to wireless initiatives. I also can not believe that 1X PC Modems are still a concept according to the people who responded to my question this morning. QCOM has got to work really hard at getting the benefit of the 1X to customers soon. What is Sprint and Verizon going to market with the new speeds later on this year. I was hoping that modems will be ready then and some of us will be able to use them to surf the net at 156Kps. Please don't tell me that with the new 1X phones coming out this year I will be able to check local WX in a second versus the two seconds that it takes now. Lets give the public what it wants soon: fast wireless internet access and not fast Sprint menu driven choice to a few web sites. GGamer
