Click on the 50 year increnments at the bottom. Notice the lifespan started to increase around 1850. It is interesting to start back in 1600 and watch the face of the world change as inventions take man from the struggle to survive to the hope of living well. freespace.virgin.net You point out lots of problems in America, but I believe it is one of the most charitable nations on the planet per capita. Far from perfect, agreed. But look to yourself and to your associates. Look to the cashier at the grocer, or the fellow mowing that expensive golf course--are they all brutal and bad people?
