But, by the way this thing is unfolding, it makes them appear that they are trying to hide it what do you think are the chances that intc will issue a statement saying "we have investigated this issue and only a very small number of customers will be effected. we will make a case by case decision on whether to replace the p4 based on if the customer is running an application which will expose this problem" ? there is one problem though, i don't think this is as easy to fix as fdiv.
