Which energy shortage do you remember since the 1970's? Have you been unable to find gas since the 1970's?

Bush was either lying or making an irrelevant statement, as the 1980's and 1990's were typified by abundant, cheap energy.

His comparison to the 1970's was ridiculous, and only a hard core Bush brown-noser such as yourself could have missed the stench from his remarks.
