Wallstreeter-

So far the market has been ignoring negative news (i.e. rallying on DELL and PALM warnings this past week). If the market can continue to stay strong for the rest of the warnings ahead, then yes the shorts will be totally crushed. Personally, I believe the recent strengths in the DOW and the NAZ will come under pressure in the next month because I do not believe the tech sector will fully recover until early 2002. Summer typically is also very unfriendly to techs in general (historically). I'm not to hot on either shorts or longs, but tend to lean towards shorts if need be. The next 3 months are highly important to how the rest of the year will be played out.
