I find almost every God humans worship repellent and I think those who believe in these Gods (like Greg) find the idea of not believing equally repellent

Well perhaps it proportionate to someone's need to
be reminded that it is truely quite a marvelous
and miraculous thing , this Great Experience
called life...and perhaps some need more
reminding than others <G>

Rather than argue about donkeys
and horses in some swatch of Biblical scripture,
i choose to be reminded of the miracles of life
donkeys and the horse, as living creatures
truely are.

I think I possess enough "faith" and insight
to the majesty of living & life , that if I had to choose
between saving the Torah or the Bible , or saving
an entire species , say the donkey or horse... both
books would be on their way out the window,
with all godspeed out the 21rst floor
of the Ritz Carlton.

I would not have even to think twice.
They could be rewritten , with far
greater insight sans plague and
catastrophie , and
archaic clutter.

I'm sure "God" would survive ....

;-)

PS: I would be aiming for the deep end
of the empty swimming pool....
