Steven is giving a broad overview of the history of Israel. Just as the all the details of the journey into Egypt are not given, neither are their deaths and burials. The "they" referred to were Joseph and his brothers but not to Jacob, who was buried in Machpelah. Since there is a distinction made between "He" (Jacob) and "our fathers" (Joseph and his bros) It is not unreasonable to assume Steven was referring to the later and not the former. If that's your big shot at God you haven't got much. as to your mistaking an ass colt for a horse, you were wrong and you knew it. Too bad you weren't able to admit it.

As to Malachi (that great Italian prophet) what exactly is your point. God punishes sin? OK, I agree. There is a higher requirement for those that have explicit knowledge about God and then blaspheme Him, by thumbing their noses at him. This was the case with the priests of that day, and it is also the case with you. You are simply heaping coals on your own head by such infantile and useless attacks on God. The judgements that God brought against his people were to serve as a sign to the priests and people alike, both then and now, that "You shall know that I have sent this commandment to you" Mal 2:4 What was the command? Turn from false gods and idols to the true God.

Your own mortality mocks you Solon, or whatever your real name is. Your anonymity on the net does not extend to, or hide you from the God with which we have to do. I sincerely hope that God will grant you repentance before it is too late.
