Yet you don't seem to see any problem with that.

Just because I didn't speak to it doesn't mean I don't see any problem with it. It just wasn't relevant and I wanted to focus on repeating the key points.

Ashcroft isn't discriminating against or harrassing anybody. If he were, that would be wrong. But he isn't.

You're entitled to your opinion. As a lawyer, however, you understand that it's not the opinion of the advocate that counts but the opinion of the body that adjudicates the matter. There are several bodies that do that, depending upon the type of complaint. They won't see it your way.

You're also ruling out the possibility of a handicapped employee meeting in his office with one or two other handicapped employees to discuss ways to cope. That's one of your protected groups.

I don't see how I can put this any more plainly than I already have but I'll try. Handicapped are the underdogs. It's different when the boss meets with the underdogs. Christians, no matter how assaulted you might feel, are not the underdogs.

I feel like I'm singing to the tone deaf. I can't explain it any more clearly than that and I'm not going to try any more.

And I think there are a whole lot more serious problems our country faces and needs to deal with than someone holding bible study sessions, or breastfeeding discussions

At last something we agree on. I'd guess at least 20% and maybe close to half of the Federal workforce is engaged in crap like this. I'd like a tax cut just like everyone else. I hate that so much energy goes into distractions. All the more reason for the AG to just go with the flow and not start trouble. The default is a secular work force. Past practice is a secular work force. In case you're not familiar with the term, past practice, you'll find it in labor law. The AG's the one making the change. He should either leave well enough alone or give his initiative the same thoughtful attention he'd give to any other priority.
