CLKS: Had a nice move today on the news with MFST.(Up 39.6%)<g>

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 2001--Click2learn (Nasdaq:CLKS - news) has been selected by Microsoft Corp. to swiftly provide and deploy the Click2learn commercial learning platform to provide e-Learning programs for Microsoft Office.

The training -- which will assist Microsoft's global customer base of Office users -- is based on Click2learn's commercial e-Learning Network.

``Improving the skill levels of our customers is something we're very passionate about,'' said Michael Bronsdon, manager of Microsoft's eLearning Product Group. ``Giving Office users access to our eLearning courses in this way enables them to learn when and where they choose, at their own pace, within a safe and engaging environment.''

The commercial platform will allow Office users seeking training to enroll in and purchase Microsoft eLearning courses.

``Our latest project with Microsoft is the quintessential example of how e-Learning can empower people to improve their software skills where and when they choose, based on high quality Microsoft content and the Click2Learn platform,'' said Kevin Oakes, president and CEO of Click2learn. ``We're helping Microsoft Office users increase their knowledge and skills through a profitable educational program.''

The e-commerce platform for Office training is the latest project in an ongoing collaboration between Microsoft and Click2learn. Earlier this year, Click2learn created Microsoft's Voyager Learning Center to manage both online and instructor-led sales training for Microsoft's worldwide sales force, and created a web-based e-Learning solution to help Microsoft roll out Windows 2000 readiness training to sales personnel and resellers worldwide.

JIM:

PTN: (A development stage biopharmaceutical co.) was able to
stage a good up-side break on increasing volume of 322,700(Average volume is 30,000 although it had increased to 80,000 since the up-move started in the last 2 weeks)

The company reported revenues & earnings last week and warned that they expect to continue to have a loss as far as they can see.<g>

On the chart it was able to close above the October & November Hs and should now be able to test the September H at 6.75 The July H was 8.18 but I doubt it will be able to get there. The institutions have been selling.

Maybe somebody knows something or there are a lot of people buying on just a TA basis ?
