If that chit-chat with O'Reilly isn't a ringing indictment of the telecommunications act of 1996, I don't know what is. Those 5 white guys from Westchester got such a sweetheart deal from Congress, controlling a good deal of the actual airwaves, while restricting access to the rest of the available spectrum for public access, public interest, public debate type broadcasting--which, btw was a major issue for guess which Presidential candidate?--Ralphie!

O'Reilly doesn't get it either. The revolution isn't that there's a new set of gate keepers. The revolution is there aren't any more gate keepers.

From now on they're going to have to come through us. They're going to have to come through us.
