PT: OEMs have sometimes squeezed costs on the PSU for Athlon systems but I would worry if the user planned to add a lot of internal devices.

If the internal devices use a different voltage-output from the PSU, it doesn't matter how many devices you add. (I don't know if this is the case or not, though).
